My apologies to Richard's Family, the poem posted on the webpage is titled Robert Cotter II...it is Richard Cotter II. A Poem to honor a man who unselfishly dedicated his life to educate the community about HIV in Portsmouth, NH. He became an activist lobbying Washington to allocate funds for research. I met Richard at the AIDS Response Seacoast Fund Raising Campaign three years ago. A beacon of light, his tireless energy and inspiring spirit will be missed. Goodbye my Friend! This poem is included in the book, 'International Who's Who in Poetry' to be published by the International Library of Poetry, 1 Poetry Plaza, Owings Mills, MD 21117, (410) 356-2000. This poem will be included in a CD "Sounds of Poetry" collection. |
