That is 'Caminito', in 'La Boca' neighbourhood, in Buenos Aires, it's right by a port, more than 90% of argentinians families come from immigrants from Europe, mainly Spain, Italy, and France.
Many lived together on those houses called 'conventillos' since they were poor, they painted those houses with left-over paint of the ships, that's why the colorful.
On the same street, looking on the other direction, you see the port, my painting 'Quinquela siempre' it's a homage to one of the greatest painters of Argentina, Benito Quinquela Martín, he painted mostly ships and port scenery.
