Hello I am YUKO ADACHI.  I was born in Tokyo and was raised in Japan, Paris, London and the United States of America. My creative process is like opening a new door and discovering the life and myself at the same time. I do not do any preliminary sketches for any of my works.  I believe that pure artistic and spiritual endeavor comes into being when I am able to set myself free from every preconceived idea and simply “dive in,” taking an unknown path, trusting my natural gifts in the given present moment.

I hope that my works act as a catalyst to break the unconscious mental boudary that humans carry and that the visual stimuli will enable the viewers to open up the reception of the energy flow within us and beyond. I work in many different styles and I want to stay that way as long as I can be creative and trust myself.

Just like art, music and books have enriched my spiritual growth, I want my work to be a part of encouragement and discovery of beauty and strength for the growth of inner life within all of us.

YUKO ADACHI is a Tokyo born Super Fine Artist. She has been showing her works through solo and selected group shows. Her painting was featured for the cover of Artscope magazine, New England's Cultural Magazine for May/June 2007 issue. Her work was also awarded for the best in painting for "Healing Power of Art 2007" by Manhattan Art International in NY. Today, she lives and works in SouthEnd, Boston.
