great place for TexMex style rehearsal dinner

Our son from Texas got married in Boston June 6th and chose this restaurant for the site of the rehearsal dinner. As hosts we found the atmosphere at Fajitas & 'Ritas made us feel right at home, as if we were entertaining right in our Texas hometown. The food was authentic and tasty, the personalized menu added a special touch, and our server could not have been more personable, gracious, or efficient.
The owner Brad Fredericks helped us plan and host a great evening which our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed.
Best frozen margs in Boston

Although the service is horrible (expect to have to flag down a hostess/waitress to get you a table, find your own flatware, etc), Fajitas and Ritas has the BEST frozen margaritas in Boston. What makes them different? They have a machine that actually freezes the mix, instead of a blender that blends the mix with a whole lotta ice (just makes them watery in the end). The food is only decent but speaking as someone from Texas that KNOWS a good margarita, these are the best I've found in Boston.
Pros: Best frozen margs in Boston
Cons: Service is bad
loud, reasonable and fun

First let me say if you are sensitive to noise do not go there. The ceilings are high, the room open and everyone is having fun so the noise level is very high.
We ordered the chicken Quesadillas and thought they were excellent. One of the best we have tasted. It's not loaded with stuff but the taste is superb and the tortilla is not mushy but crisp and authentic tasting. All seven of us really enjoyed them!
The steak fajita smelled delicious?as always. Many times I find the aroma does not match the taste....great smell but tastes bland. This was not true of Fajitas and Ritas. They seasoned the meat and it was delicious.
The burritos used the same dough as the Quesadillas so once again the burrito were not soft on the bottom. They too were good.
You can order beer by the pitcher which makes the bill very reasonable. The margaritas were pretty good. Not the best I have had, by far, but the $5 price tag makes them taste even better.
Oh yes, they have a unique way of ordering. You fill out a menu order the same as ordering from a take-out chinese restaurant. Your order is always right but we had a little bit of a problem getting their attention for more drinks and food.
Pros: reasonable & fun,
Cons: very loud

One of the few Mexican eateries in the area. Nice when you are craving it and don't want to go too far out of the way. Good atmosphere, food was average, good service and interesting way of ordering your food. You'll see when you get there!

Good place for lunch. The food is okay, I usually get a chicken quesadilla, and end up with enough to take home. The ambience is great. Bring a Sharpie if you want to write on the walls or booth. It's fun to read some of the messages other people write. My fave: "I love you Santino Rice" (one of the contestants from Project Runway).
Pros: great ambience
Cons: food could be better
